LPRCH GRHBCH CH Cottonmouth's Ragin' Cajun Ruger back up for stud

I would like to start seeing more Ruger pups being trialed. So far the pups out of Ruger are very young and not at trialing age but are getting close. I have heard really good things about them all so far and haven't yet heard a negative response. What I have seen so far that Ruger throws is hunt, brains, competitiveness, foot, and heart. Ruger himself has a ton of heart. About 8-9 months ago he had to have his leg amputated because he had got it caught in a snare which cut the circulation off to his leg. I never thought he would ever run again as the same dog he was. Ruger has always been a powerful dog and could run all day long, as the day got longer he got better. He is 15 inches tall but not any taller than 15 inches. After entering him in his first hunt this year I found out that even on 3 legs the dog still has what it takes to compete. I have ran him everywhere within these 8 months (including East Eliminator, UKC Nationals, VA State Hunt) and he has left his mark everywhere we go. If anyone would like to come run with him please do, anybody is welcomed to come watch him run. I have plenty of references on what kind of dog he is and references on his puppies so far. Not only is he throwing great hunting traits but he is also throwing beautiful puppies with great confirmation. Ruger has bred 5 females already this year so he has been very busy with breeding and trialing. Just this year alone he has won 5-6 hunts including getting qualified for the 2015 UKC World Hunt and won the first day of the VA State hunt scoring 1217 1/2+ points for the grand class. Ruger also won the 2015 North Mountain Beagle Club hound of the year by winning two cast in the runoff. I think Ruger would be a great stud for anybody wanting to gain more foot, desire, hunt, and most of all Heart. For more pictures of Ruger please visit http://www.cottonmouthbeagles.webs.com. The stud fee for Ruger is $200 and a negative brucellosis test. It can sometimes get complicated to breed him since he has only got 3 legs and it takes a lot of my help. Ruger's son, Cottonmouth's Cruisn 4 A Bruisn, placed 5th out of 40 dogs in registered this weekend at Doe Valley for the Tennessee State Championship. He is really turning out to be a nice dog and is already showing what he can do for only being 13 months old! Congrats to Bruiser and Johnathan Rice for a good weekend!!!

Ruger will be breeding, "Drew's Creek Machine Gun Molly" this weekend. She is a daughter of WORLDHBCH Branko's Chubby Checkers. These pups should have plenty of hunt and drive in them. Molly is a fast 13" female that knows how to get it done! Adam will be taking a few names, but these pups will only go to trialers.

Just bred GRHBCH CH Cottonmouth's Ragin' Cajun Ruger to my HBCH CK's Blackberry Moonshine. Moonshine placed 3rd last year at the UKC East Eliminator at 18 months old. She was one of the quickest dogs I have ever championed. She has all day hunt and stamina with good foot. A lot of people have seen her go. I will not be taking any names for these pups but this should make a great cross!

As of right now I have 8 people on a list for the Ruger and Moonshine pups... 2 of the pups will be heading to New York to be ran in AKC large pack, from the guys I purchased moonshine from. If someone backs out I will post it up. Ohlinger, there are some litters older that are out of Ruger right now. All went to gun hunters. I bred Ruger to Keens Jlo, they only had 2 pups in this litter and both went to gun hunters as well due to a deal that was made when Jlo was purchased by her present owner. The past few crosses have started to go to trialers. Ranger out of Ruger and Mtn Ways Diamond in the Ruff are the oldest to be trialed so far. Which they have done great! Bloodlines I have bred with him so far have been northway, reggie, branko, and now kickaz stuff. So far the ones I have seen have done very good. Jerry Walker from West Virginia has seen the Keens Jlo pups run since they are up that way. He's tried to buy the gyp back several times I believe... this year and next year is going to be a big year for Ruger pups I believe. If you wanna talk more about it, give me a call. 540-460-3669. I bred him for my own use for the first time last year and I really like what I got so far.

I have had 2 litters out of ruger, my female was a good gun dog I would consider a average dog. Ruger throws hard hitting pups and throws great foot in both my litters. Dogs that do not open until the rabbit is on its feet. I have a male out of the ruger x whiskey cross at 3 months old I have videos of him running his own rabbit. He was running with the big hounds at 5 and 6 months old and hitting the front. He is 11 months old now and ready to trial, so I truely love the grit he throws in his pups.
